We here at Southern Stryker Gun Dogs take a lot of PRIDE into breeding our dogs. Unlike most other kennels (breeding mainly for a profit), we are breeding for a true purpose. Every breeding is extensively thought out about and planned months to years in advance. Each pairing is made because we want to add a puppy off of that particular cross into our breeding program. You will see us keep a puppy from every litter.
Prices are based on the titles of the parents, size of the litter and based off of previous offspring of those dogs. We normally will save first pick male & female off of every breeding. This way we can choose whichever puppy we want when the time comes. Picks on all litter aren't made until 6-7 weeks old.
We don't give a particular "pick order" to those purchasing a puppy. You are guaranteed a spot based on your application in order it was received. Southern Stryker Gun Dogs will pick the puppy you receive based on the best fit for what you are looking for.
Puppies are sold on limited registration. However, the option to purchase full registration at 8 weeks old is also available. We will need to know at time of purchase if you want limited or full registration. As that helps us determine whether you get a "breeding prospect" or not.
All of our puppies come with a 24-month health guarantee.
All of our puppies are born and raised in our house. We are very hands on with all our puppies from early on. We do ENS (Early Neuroglial Stimulation) & ESI (Early Scent Introduction) with all puppies. We litter box train all of our puppies, which helps them adjust to potty training. Starting at 6 weeks, we will start crate training the pups. (DISCLAIMER: You will not be getting a fully potty trained & crate trained puppy at 8 weeks old. We just expose them, so it isn't so traumatizing when they leave).
Puppies are all microchipped with AKC Reunite. Puppies will all go home with a small bag of food and a small "go home" bag full of goodies to help your pup adjust.
All puppies purchased from our kennel are offered discounted pricing for the Gun Dog program, Hunt Test program or field trial program from our kennel. Also, puppies that are sent off to our Field Trial Pro will be given benefits as well.
Please note that "fox red" is a shade of Yellow. You will NOT be refunded on your deposit if you decide that you want a "red" puppy and get a lighter shade of yellow. You are purchasing a dog from us based off of the pedigree and pairing. Color is NOT a factor when choosing a puppy.

Pricing of Puppies vary based on the titles of the dogs at the time of breeding. Pricing is subject to change at any time due to litter size, complications in the pregnancy/whelping or higher accomplished titles than originally anticipated.

AFC 2xSRSACC SRSC SRSAC GRHRCH Rip MH speaks for himself. He is in un doubtfully one of the most sucessful versatile dogs around. Capable from hunt tests, to SRS to All Age stakes. He is the youngest dog to ever win the Crown Championship (2 years old). And then the 2nd time he won, he had the lowest overall score (which means he scored even lower than the winning Open dog). He has his AFC title, along with the Open win (he just needs points for that title). He ran the National Amateur event where he made it to the “” series. He went 2/2 at the HRC International Grand.
Delta MH is an incredible dog in herself. She is the product of the late SRSAC GRHRCH Dre MH NDL QA2 (who also placed 2nd at the 2021 SRS Crown Championship in the Amateur (his first year ever running SRS events). Her dam is HRCH Roux MH QA2 (who has a SRS Amatuer 1st, SRS Open 3rd & Grand pass). Delta went 6/6 for her AKc Master title at 2 years old. She also recieved a 3rd place in her first Qualifying event as a 2 year old. She also has 2 HRC Finished passes. She is fully Amateur trained. She wil continue to pursue her HRCH title after pups. And we have goals for her to run qualifying events, SRS events and the Grand.

7xGRHRCH Costa MH HOF QAA is a pretty incredible animal. He has gone 7/7 at the Grand. He also is in the 1000 points Hall Of Fame (mostly with passes from is amateur owner). He has a QAA in very limited trials. And even though he has never “chased” SRS events, he has some placements in the few events he has ran. When he is not with his trainer, he lives in the home with his owner full time and is hunted hard. His pedigree is pretty spectacular. (Not including him) he has 25 Grand passes in 3 generations. His grandsire was a SRS Crown Champion, his sire was a SRS Crown Champion and he has a half brother that is a SRS Crown Champion. What also makes him special to us, is he share the same sire as our female HRCH Macaroni MH QA2.
HRCH Dallas MH QAA is probably one of my favorite girls. She went 6/6 in Finished tests to achieve her HRCH before her 2nd birthday. She has her MH title. She achieved her QAA on her very first Qualifying event. And has a 100% finish rate in trials with placing 2/2 of the trials she’s ran. Her pedigree is just about as good as they get, with 6 FC AFC, 1 NAFC & 4 QAA/QA2 dogs. She is my son’s dog and sleeps in the bed with him and never meets a stranger. We currently have 2 puppies here off of her previous breeding that are EXCELLING in their training and will go on to do amazing things.
This is the perfect combination of hunt test & field trial pedigree. SRS, Grand, Hunt Tests, Field Trials… The opportunities are endless with this pairing.
