Hello and welcome to our site. we are a small kennel located just 15 minutes from Okeechobee, FL who specializes in performance ”fox red” and “fox red” carrier dogs.

All of our dogs are specifically considered when looking to add to our program. We want the best pedigrees available that carry the dark yellow (fox red) gene.

Our dogs are all registered with both AKC & UKC And run hunt tests in both organizations. We aim to provide  the best quality dogs, so we only breed dogs that we are proud to own offspring off of. 

Al of our dogs are health tested through Paw Prints Genetics. We test for all the genetic diseases Labradors are common to have, including EIC & CNM. Once our dogs are 2 years old, we have their OFA hips, OFA elbows & CERF eyes tested. We also test that our dogs do NOT carry the Dilute gene.

At Southern Stryker Gun Dogs, no dog will ever be bred before 2 years old. And no dog will ever be bred “just to have a litter”. Every breeding is thoughtfully considered for the perfect pairing. We breed our dogs for mainly us adding quality dogs into our kennel.

We offer dog training for ALL breeds. Whether you need help with your out of control house pet, or you want a dog you can hunt over. We can help you. All of our dogs are kept in outside kennels with full shade and fresh automatic waterers. Dogs are let out several times a day to relieve themselves and play. And are each trained daily (some that need it are trained 2x a day). We live on 5 fenced in acres with a gator free pond with access to thousands of acres for training. Your dogs are treated as our own and we dont take in more then we handle to ensure each gets the appropraite amount of time.
